Conditions for the Transport of Luggage
Rights and Obligations
The customer accept to pay the agreed price at least 10 days ahead of the first day of the journey. If not, the bill AND the booking will be cancelled then! (For cancellation fees see: section 'Cancellation')
The baggage has to be ready by 9 a.m. at the reception or another agreed location. The customer also agrees not to exceed the permitted weight limit of 20 kg (44 lbs) per piece of luggage.
The carrier has the right to refuse to transport items of luggage that exceed the permitted weight of 20 kg (44 lbs).
In case he transports this luggage it will count as 2 items and be charged with 9.5.- Euro afterwards.
Payment
The invoice is issued in advance; the contract only becomes valid after receipt of the invoice amount. The customer will receive an invoice and a reminder, but no demand for payment. But if no payment has been received 10 days before the start of the trip, the invoice and the order will expire. I.e. the luggage will not get transported. ( But 19).- Euro as cancellation fee will be demanded.)
Liability
In the event of damage to or loss of luggage, the luggage carrier is liable, if the damage was caused by him and reported to him immediately, up to an amount of € 250.
Scratches on the luggage, torn handles and damaged wheels are excluded from any liability! The assumption of liability takes place when the luggage is loaded.
The luggage will be delivered to the destination hotel by 5 p.m. (Koblenz in exceptional cases also at 5:30 p.m.)
After delivery to the hotel, the assumption of liability is transferred to the hotelier in accordance with Section 701 BGB (the german civil code).
Cancellation
A free cancellation of the luggage transport is possible only 10 days ahead of the first day of travel. After that we charge 19.- Euro until the evening before the first day (8 pm) of travel.
This will not take place, if there are any suddenly appearing restrictions related to the Corona Disease. In this case all paid money will be reimbursed without any fees.
